The Swedish Chiefs of Staff have a lot to gain from engaging in international networks such as the Chief of Staff Association (CSA) and the Chief of Staff Network. Membership provides access to a global network of experienced CoS professionals, exclusive training and certifications, and the opportunity to participate in international conferences and digital forums. This provides insight into how the CoS role evolves in different industries and countries, and enables benchmarking against world-leading organizations. Mentoring and peer learning programs provide support in complex issues such as change management, innovation, ESG, and GDPR. For Swedish leaders, this means being able to bring back new approaches, strategies, and tools that strengthen both their own role and the organization’s competitiveness. Furthermore, international networks contribute to building a personal brand and creating career opportunities in a global labor market. Although there is no Swedish CoS association, the Swedish Chiefs of Staff can fully participate in these global networks and benefit from their resources and exchange of experiences.
