It is still relatively uncommon for Swedish Chiefs of Staff to have international certifications such as Certified Chief of Staff® or Chief of Staff Network. Most Swedish CoS, however, have academic degrees and extensive experience in leadership, project management, and change management. However, interest in international certifications is growing, especially among younger candidates and those working in global companies or fast-growing tech companies. The certifications are seen as a way to stand out and demonstrate international standards, but they are not yet the norm in the Swedish labor market.
